documents a self-built multi-agent platform

Twenty coworker plugins, one chassis — the twelve knowledge-work domains plus eight specialized.

This platform ships one coworker plugin per domain — science, customer-support, data, design, engineering, finance, human-resources, legal, marketing, operations, product-management, sales — plus eight specialized coworkers: deploy, analytics-engineering, agent-resources, data-engineering, and the Apple surface built out into four (ios-, swift-, hardware-, and xcode-engineering). Each is scoped to least-privilege tools and explicit approval gates, organized to mirror Anthropic's open-source knowledge-work-plugins domain set so skills and MCPs iterate per domain. The original nine-role taxonomy this platform launched with was reorganized onto the twelve domains on 2026-07-02 — the history is kept, not renumbered.

How it works

The e2m envelope, DurableTask queues, and peer-to-peer messaging over a2a — the contract every coworker binds to.

Approval gates

Legal and Finance never act alone — a physical approve/deny on a desktop device, the same mechanism for every gated role.

What already ships

Design and engineering are the proven verticals — see Run a design review for the proof-of-loop. The rest extend the same chassis: installing a role is installing a plugin.

vs. Anthropic's real knowledge-work-plugins taxonomy

Anthropic's knowledge-work-plugins launched with 11 plugins (2026-01-30) and expanded to cover design, engineering, human-resources, and operations in February 2026. This platform's twenty cwc-* plugins mirror that domain organization one-for-one across the twelve knowledge-work domains — including marketing, customer-support, and science (the last replaced the stubbed bio-research placeholder on 2026-07-03, grounded in Claude Science) — plus eight specialized coworkers of our own: deploy, analytics-engineering, agent-resources (which onboarded itself via its own coworker-lifecycle skill), data-engineering, and the four Apple-surface coworkers (ios-, swift-, hardware-, and xcode-engineering). They were written for this operator's subagent*.com fleet, not installed from the marketplace: each plugin's skills operate real fleet surfaces (subagentlegal.com, subagentfinance.com, subagentengineering.com already ship as sites; a dedicated marketing site is still the natural next candidate). Every coworker also has a registered identity on subagentidentities.com and appears as the plugin layer on the live architecture map.

Tracked as durable contracts

Why a contract, not just a claim →

Cloudflare, converging

This platform arrived at the same primitives as Cloudflare's own Claude Managed Agents control plane independently — a scoped execution boundary, credentials injected rather than handed over, typed tools as the only surface an agent touches. See the mapping, including the open-models path to a self-hosted agent loop.

The sibling sites

subagentcowork.com documents Anthropic's own products — Cowork and Claude Tag — that this platform's design borrows its information architecture from (concepts, connections, use-cases) without being either of them. subagentcontracts.com is where the "durability gate" and "physical approve" proof-of-loops above actually live as trackable, closeable records, grounded in claude-tag's own durability model. subagenttasks.com is the live version of the DurableTask queue this page describes in prose — the same pending → in_progress → completed lifecycle, made queryable outside any one coworker's mailbox.
